Psychic Kids on A&E
Speaking of ghosts, does everyone know about this new series on A&E, even in HD, titled Psychic Kids. It is fascinating if you are as interested in ghosts as I am. Each episode centers on three young people who are struggling with seeing apparitions and/or having other paranormal experiences. Chip Coffey, the awesome psychic, and a kind psychologist help the children with their fears and with their talents.
I often think of the terror my two boys went through living in that haunted house. They were about 7 and 9. I wished I could’ve helped them better, other than to move out and into a new house.
I had an imaginary friend as a child when we lived in a very old house. I don’t think he was imaginary. I think I was seeing a ghost.

I didn’t know about the show, but I think it’s great that there’s more of an acceptance, or at the very least recognition, of the fact that there are spirits out there and that some kids do have the ability to see them. There’s a really good book out now by Melissa Van Rossum called “Their Way Home” about her work as a ghost guide. In the beginning of it she talks a lot about how she saw ghosts as a kid and how she felt about it growing up. If you like ghost stories, it’s a really good read.
My oldest daughter watches this show w/ me. She was afraid of her abilities when she was younger. I’ve tried to guide her & calm her fears. Watching this show has given her more confidence. She even wanted to go “ghost hunting” in our own house cuz we have visiting spirits that pass thru. The night that we did this, a new spirit was in our house named ‘Samual’, we asked him if he wanted help? His answer was, “no.” We use to have a portal in my house, but thanks to Sylvia Browne, I learned that, thru prayer, I can have it moved, which I did, and which my kids felt the difference & it was a BIG difference. My house is now more calm, not so many visitors. My daughter & I have learned helpful things from this show. One interesting point is that when the kids & Chip say that they “feel” someone standing over there, my daughter can “see” them standing there. We ususally agree on what they look like. I can’t see them like my daughter, I get a “knowing” sense. I guess you could say that I do see them w/ my inner eye. My daughter seems to be able to see them w/ her physical eyes.
